Pokhara News : Nepal has bagged 34 medals including four gold medals in the 13th South Asian Games taking place in Pokhara.
Host country Nepal clinched two gold medals each from triathlon and weight lifting in the competition held for a total of 151 medals in eight games.
Nepali lifter Sanju Chaudhary and Bikash Thapa clinched gold medals women 59 kg and male 89 kg, respectively.
Likewise, Soni Gurung and Himal Tamata won gold medals for the country in triathlon on female and male category.
Nepal has clinched total nine silver medals, including three each in triathalon and weight lifting and one each in archery, male handball and female football.
Similarly, Nepal won 21 bronze medals, including 11 in weight lifting, five in badminton, two in archery and one each in women cricket, triathlon and women volleyball.
India topped the list of medals with 15 gold, five silver and four bronze in the South Asian games held in Pokhara.
